For literature, the sky is the limit, and there’s hardly a more ambitious work than that of the high fantasy writer, busy creating worlds and universes that scape from the rigors of our everyday lives. Epic sagas like the Lord of the Rings, the Chronicles of Narnia and A Song of Ice and Fire (developed for TV as Game of Thrones) may be the most famous examples of the genre. What about happiness? August 4th Talk/show session

Most human beings believe their purpose on life is to be happy. But what does happiness encompass? According to www.dictionary.com this term refers to the quality or state of being happy –delighted, pleased or glad as over a particular thing-. Positive psychology defines a happy person as someone who experiences frequent positive emotions. Those are interesting definitions but still too general. In my opinion, happiness is  a subjective emotion and I would say it depends on such a wide range of variables that it makes it a very fascinating topic to talk about.

Dream Jobs - July 28th Talk/Show Conversation Club

The Conversation Club is back! We are starting this term sessions on Thursday, when we will be talking about dream jobs. We know that some occupations require a degree certificate and others don't. Some of them demand specific skills while others are easy to carry out or just depend on creativity. All jobs have different features that may make them more appealing according to your interests. Is there a perfect job for each person? Is money the only issue to take into account when considering the best job?

As a teacher I have seen many students struggle when they have to write a paper, it doesn´t matter if it is a letter or an essay. That is why I want to suggest some tips you could use when writing.

When learning a second language there are many aspects and features we must take into account, vocabulary, grammar, phonetics, spelling, functions, among many others. However, learners main aim is getting to speak and communicate their ideas in a fluent way, using appropriate pronunciation and getting to interact without difficulty with other speakers. Reaching that goal is not an easy undertaking but there are many tips and activities we can take into account in order to get our target.
